Adapter is a mechanical device designed to align fiber optic connectors. It contains the interconnect sleeve that holds two ferrules together. They are used to connect optical fiber connectors of the same type, such as FC, SC, LC, ST, MU, MTRJ, D4, DIN, MPO ect, widely used in optical fiber communications equipment, measuring appliance and so on, the performance stably reliable.
Optecom International offer D4 adaptor with high fine ceramic or PB sleeve to guarantee high precision alignment. There are two types, singlemode sleeve with Zirconia Ceramic, multimode with Phosphor Bronze.
